Ingredients
450ml milk of your choice
2 tbsp cacao powder, plus extra to serve
1 tbsp coconut sugar
½ tsp maca powder (optional)
Pinch of salt
Cinnamon and dried spices, to serve (optional)
Steps
- Whisk milk, cacao, sugar, maca and salt in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until mostly combined.
- Allow mixture to come to a gentle simmer, whisking regularly, until hot, smooth and frothy.
- Pour hot cacao into serving mugs. Sprinkle with extra cacao, or cinnamon and dried spices, to serve. Sweeten with extra coconut sugar if required.
